I take been using remote desktop on my MAC for about two years, for a PC based plan that I need for work. Within the final few months information technology has been crashing a lot and even deleted my program a few times recently. Is anyone else having these bug?

I try not to alter from MAC to a PC and so I want to get access to my files and programs I have access to when I use a PC. I have some event with RemoteApp and Desktop Connection, I can download the .rdp file on my MAC but information technology all the same just download the file fifty-fifty I accept installed the Microsoft Remote Desktop and choosen to apply it when open the .rdp file. What practise I do incorrect? Its on a Windows Server 2012

Worked quite well until I updated this morning (Big Sur 11.6). Now will not connect... non even in the Beta version updated 3 days ago.

Even creating .rdp files on my PC and using the MRD app on my Mac to import the file results in no connection between the 2 devices. I just cannot fathom why this app refuses to piece of work past manually entering the information or using the import function. If anyone knows what may exist causing the trouble I'd appreciate knowing how to get around information technology.

Do not use this version. Download the Microsoft Remote Desktop Beta customer directly from Microsoft, currently version eight.2.27 (y'all'll find it online, hosted on Hockeyapp, now a division of MS). Lots of improvements including much better UI. four* is for the beta version, not this one.

I'm a calorie-free user of RDC and it normally works OK when I need it - but FOUR updates in less than thirty days (8.0.27 on Mar. fifteen, viii.0.28 on Mar. 21, 8.0.29 on Mar. 31, 8.0.30 on Apr. 08), its annoying. Come on M$, get your act together!

Be aware that Microsoft removed the spaces in between the name, it's at present MicrosoftRemoteDesktop, and it breaks the dock icon, requiring you to drag the revised app to the dock. Royal hurting for corporate admins...

Merely in short, using the higher up methods y'all can get the MS remote desktop installer to reuse and it won't be locked to an Apple ID.
